"Hell is murky." A fierce and frighteningly intimate staging of Shakespeare's horror show.
“The fledgling Magic Circle Theater Company makes its debut with a compact new staging of Shakespeare’s tragedy Macbeth (November 13-23). Arguably Shakespeare’s most exciting play, director Josh Hitchens’ vigorous 90-minute production doesn’t contain the action to the stage, but instead utilizes the entire space at the intimate Shubin Theater.”

Iconic. That is the only word that accurately describes Elizabeth, the pop sensation of the past three decades. With the help of her assistant Wendi, she’s constantly working towards becoming bigger and better than anyone before. For that reason, Elizabeth, at the peak of her career, wants to plan a global charity concert, and she brings in the virtually unknown event planner Cindy to help her. But Elizabeth has a secret. And only her inner circle knows. A secret that could change the world.
"[Director Josh Hitchens] brings a level of weight to this that I think is on par with a Shakespearean text. Very few people can bring that sort of feeling to a modern play."
